The Commonwealth Games Federation hosted the eqUIP workshop in Botswana

The Commonwealth Games Association Mauritius joined 19 other Commonwealth Games Associations (CGAs) from Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean for the eqUIP Orientation/Midterm Workshop held in Lobatse, Botswana from 6-9 November 2022. Nelly Chellemboyee who recently joined us as the Intern Administrative Officer attended the orientation workshop in the company of the Marketing Officer, Vinesha Coocaram.

The eqUIP workshop was carried out to provide interns with the opportunity to network with each other, whilst providing dynamic training sessions that focused on both career and personal development to ensure that the current cohort of eqUIP interns get the very best out of the programme. The eqUIP Internship programme is an initiative of the Commonwealth Sport Foundation (CSF) that aims to offer youth across the Commonwealth with skills development and employment opportunities that supports CGA capacity building and empowers young leaders to make positive change in sport and their communities.
