Olympic Debate Competition 2024

On Sunday, 18 August 2024, the Mauritius Olympic Committee HQ in Trianon, Quatre Bornes, came alive with intellectual energy as the Olympic Debate Competition Final took center stage. Organized by the Mauritius Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy of Mauritius, this annual event brought together talented students from schools across the island, inspired by the Olympic Values of Excellence, Friendship, and Respect.

The competition saw spirited debates from students who tackled thought-provoking topics with eloquence, logic, and passion. Their performances demonstrated not only their academic acumen but also their alignment with the moral and ethical values promoted by the Olympic Movement.

The event culminated in an exciting awards ceremony where the top participants were recognized:
