He took the second place of the final behind the Algerian, Bouanani Amine, with a time of 13’55.
This silver medal, won by the Mauritian hurdler, is the first medal won by Mauritius in the African Championships after 8 years.
On the other hand, Noa Bibi finished at the seventh place of the 100m final, stopping the clock at 10’14. The African champion is the great Kenyan favorite, Ferninand Omanyala who ran the hectometer in 9’93.
