The President of the MOC attends the YOP Athlete Award of the Month

Organized by the Mauritius Sports Council, the ‘YOP Athlete of the Month Award’
aims to recognize athletes that have brilliantly succeeded at competitions organized
nationally, regionally and internationally.
This year, the YOP Athlete Award of the Month Ceremony was held on Thursday
28th October 2021 at Bhujoharry College.
The President of the Mauritius Olympic Committee, Mr. Philippe Hao Thyn Voon Ha
Shun had the immense pleasure to present the YOP Athlete of the Month July 2020
award to Mr. Bhirsingh SOOKOO who won a gold medal at the Medine Brazilian Jiu
Jitsu Open.
Mr. Philippe also received the YOP Athlete of the Month November 2020 award on
behalf of Miss Margaux KOENIG.
Miss Margaux KOENIG participated in the MESF VICTORIA CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
JUMPING LEAGUE 2020/21 which took place at the Club Hippique de Maurice where
she won a gold medal
